Assessment and Evaluation Coordinatorship
ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION COORDINATORSHIP
Assessment and Evaluation Coordinatorship is responsible for planning, preparing, conducting, supervising, and archiving all common exams held throughout the academic year within the English Preparatory Programme, as well as overseeing and archiving exams conducted by the Modern Languages Unit. The main duties include:
- Determining exam dates for the English Preparatory Classes
- Announcing English Preparatory Class exams to students and academic staff
- Creating exam questions for the English Preparatory Classes
- Ensuring alignment of exam content with the curriculum and making improvements
- Organizing duplication of exam papers
- Assigning exam halls for the English Preparatory Classes and Modern Languages Unit exams, and preparing attendance sheets for English Preparatory exams
- Preparing and securely storing exam envelopes for English Preparatory exam halls
- Preparing audio files for listening questions and duplicating them for the number of exam halls
- Organizing the evaluation process of English Preparatory exams
- Planning invigilation duties and necessary arrangements for English Preparatory exams
- Holding Exam Briefing Meetings with academic staff prior to exams
- Conducting Standardization Meetings with academic staff before exam controls
- Organizing Exam Feedback Sessions for English Preparatory students
- Communicating exam templates for English Preparatory and Modern Languages Unit exams to academic staff
- Archiving exams conducted by English Preparatory Classes and the Modern Languages Unit

- English Proficiency Exam
- English Placement Test
- Progress Evaluation Exams (GDE/PEE)
- Midterms for English Preparatory Classes (in cooperation with course instructors)
- Midterms and final exams for Modern Languages Unit courses (in cooperation with course instructors)

The Assessment and Evaluation Coordinatorship works in coordination with the Program Development and Material Preparation Coordinatorship and academic staff involved in the English Preparatory Programme to prepare objective, reliable, and valid exams and to securely store and archive all administered exams.
